Rudrani Farbman Brown
Director and Founder of the World Yoga Center, Affiliated Anusara Yoga Instructor

Rudrani began her study joyous and lifelong study of yoga in 1966 and is the founder the World Yoga Center, established in 1972. A speaker, lecturer, writer, counselor and certified Hatha Yoga instructor, Rudrani is trained in several styles of hatha yoga. She is an affiliated Anusara yoga teacher and began her study with John Friend in 1994. In 1974, having met her teacher, Muktananda Paramahamsa, she began an adventurous journey into spiritual practices, scriptures and philosophy, which included travel to India and years of ashram life. A charismatic teacher, her presence and wisdom bring fresh inspiration and laughter to students on the path of Yoga. Her classes are woven with Yoga teachings and are best known for their clarity of instruction, transformative use of the body and meditative presence.

Rudrani has lead yoga retreats in Mexico, Costa Rica, Belize and New York for the past 10 years. She has been training WYC teachers since 1976.

Jackie Prete
Jackie brings 21 years of experience to her grace-filled vinyasa-flow classes. Her spirited yet playful teaching style is characterized by her precision of alignment and a deep longing to guide her students in their inner journey of the spirit and heart.

Jackie's nurturing eye for therapeutic issues and misalignments creates safe classes and an atmosphere of healing for students of all levels. She is a certified Anusara yoga instructor, licensed massage therapist and yoga therapist, certified also by the Om Yoga Center and White Lotus Foundation.

She currently teaches at NYC's premier Equinox Fitness Clubs and the World Yoga Center.

Jackie is the owner of Ram Sangha Retreats and has lead yoga retreats in the Catskills and Costa Rica for the past 7 years
